At Olivet Bible Church, Water baptism is a very important aspect of our beliefs. Jesus had to be baptised by water before he began his ministry and it was after he got baptised that the spirit of God rested in him, represented by a dove.

If you have been a Christian for a while or just recently became a Christian, but have not undergone water baptism by immersion, we encourage you to do so. In the New Testament water baptism often immediately followed the believer’s conversion; it is a public affirmation of an individual’s decision to follow Christ.
